BROKEN HEARTED

Tragedy struck last night. I was making dinner for Truvy and Tramp when Truvy's bowl slipped from my hand and broke. Truvy rescued me in November of 2002 when she was about a year old. I got her this very deserving bowl as part of Valentine's Day clearance sale. She's had all her meals in this bowl for over 7 years. I'm more upset about it then she is.

  1. Looks like a fairly clean break. Some superglue should fix it right up.

  3. Oh no! That's terrible!!!

Luckily, I think your dog will probably be happy to eat out of any bowl. :)

  4. I am with Paul (only cause he is hot, kidding, no not kidding about his hotness)

Anyway, oh no, I am sure he'll love a new bowl. Be careful about the superglue though because, I had a fish tank and a prop broke so I superglued it and the fishies died the next day. SADs.

  5. I'm sorry about the break. I know how it feels when you but so much thought and feeling into a thing, then to have it broken. But I agree, I think Truvy is happiest to have you, so any bowl will do. :)

  6. I think it is so sweet that you are so upset by the break, caring for her is obviously something you do well, as long as you are around she will be a happy girl;)

  7. Ugh, what a shame. Such a cute little bowl. Shop around on eBay or the Internet you might be able to find a replacement.

  8. You can mend it that make it more special.

  9. Truvy is right. It's not the bowl that's important. It's the love that comes with the care and feeding that is important to her.

She can help you get over your loss. Get her a new bowl. Glue the old bowl together and put it on display as a keepsake. I would not want any glue from the old bowl to dissolve out and affect her in any way.

  11. Oh no, that's awful. I'm with hubby on this one; super glue it back together as a keepsake, but get her a new bowl. Adhesives have a tendency to dissolve and I wouldn't want her to get sick either.
