IF I COULD TURN BACK TIME....

and you will, either before you go to bed Saturday night or after you get up on Sunday morning. For many of us, it's Daylight Savings Time and since it's the fall, we turn back time (see how I worked that in there?) and get an extra hour to do with whatever we like.

The most important point of my post is not to remind you to change your clocks but to REMIND you to change the batteries in your smoke and CO2 detectors. You should also replace them if they are more than 5 years old or you don't know how old they are. I write the date on the back. And now I present the one and only CHER!

Sage advice Sean. We are in the middle of changing our batteries now. Very expensive proposition, as we have twelve smoke detectors spread out on all four floors of the house. We went with rechargeable batteries this time. We'll have to see how long they last.

no DST for us in AZ
for once I am grateful for my state. DST causes a lot of emotional upsets; at clinic people are 'off' for a week or more.
