19 COMMENTS AND COUNTING

My post on the new sugar container resulted in the second most comments in almost 600 posts! I was shocked to say the least.

The above pic was sent to me by friend and fellow blogger, Peter of Tippn' the Scales, of the sugar and brown sugar packaging they have been using in the Netherlands for a while now. I like these better.

Thanks Sean! The best thing is... when empty they can be recycled.

C&H Sugar was using this packaging here in California for awhile about ten years ago but they went back to the bag. I was going to mention this in my earlier blog but thought it was TMI.

The spout on top is a great idea until the sugar cakes together. Then you have to shove a spoon in there to break it up. That's no fun.

Sean, I have to say I like this design much more than the last. Much more eco-friendly.

I was at Ralph's market, aka Kroger, and guess what? C&H sugar still sells their sugar in a carton just like the ones in the photo. I need to visit the sugar aisle more often. LOL
