A DOGABLY PAWFECT SATURDAY

Last Saturday, Truvy was sitting in my lap reading my blogs with me. When we got to David Dust's Caturday post, she's like, "Daddy, why don't you have a weekly doggie post?" I had no good answer for her and who could say not to that face?

So today is our first Dogably Pawfect Saturday! I hope Bandit, Lucy & Sable,  GeorgiePino & Cricket & Roxy, Ozzo, and Julius along with everyone else will join us! Posts don't have to be just about your doggies, they can be anything doggie related.

After 6 years of bathes every 3-4 weeks (he's a dirty dog) Tramp still hates his bath but now takes it in stride.

Doggie sitting my nephew's dog Maggie. She has settled down a lot but still has a long way to go!

Great post. I don't have a dog right now but I'm really looking forward to see how this new "tradition" will take off. Great idea! Thanks!

  2. I love dogs...I love them so much and yet I can't have one because my 95 yr. old mom who lives with me was attacked by a dog while going to work as a maid in Coral Gables 50 yrs. ago. It was so traumatic for her that she is scared shitless of all dogs...even little ones.
The owner of the dog that attacked her was sitting in the porch...one of these cracker-redneck types and just laughed his ass off.
I still love going to friends houses and petting and giving those little bundles of joy my affection.
    saludos,

  3. My pooch always makes me smile when it comes to bath time, he seems to know when I start to run the water it is for him and will always hide under the bed, he hasnt figured out that I know his hiding place, and maybe he needs to switch it, lol ;)

  4. Ozzo took one look at Miss Truvy's face and demanded to be 'blogged'.
    So he was.

  8. I feel like I must be channeling the dog from the second photo because we are in strikingly similar positions on the couch.

  9. This was a great idea for a post. Cute doggie pictures always brighten my day. I hope you do this weekly like you do Mug Shot Wednesday.

  10. I'm in and so is Julius.

I've nothing with those caturday phrases, or maybe that has to do that I don't like cats that much.

  11. I used to do "Puppy Pic of the Week" when Callie was a pup. These days we do "Periodic Puppy Pics" whenever I get a good shot of her.

Love the photo of Tramp in the sink!

  12. Tramp looks just like a wet Bandit. He doesn't like his either but actually jumps in the tub now as if to say "okay let's get this over with."

  13. Giving my girls a bath is so exhausting. If I could put them in the sink like Tramp it would be easier.
Lucy and Sable love this idea.
