A DOGABLY PAWFECT SATURDAY

Dyson to the rescue with it's new Dog Grooming Tool!

Another way to keep your home clean. Vacuum your dog.

The Dyson groom tool is a vacuum-assisted dog groomer. Slicker bristles remove loose hair directly from your dog before it's shed around the home. It then self cleans, sucking hair from the bristles straight into your vacuum. No mess.

I do see a problem using this on dogs who don't like vacuums - like my Truvy.

  1. OMG! I need one of these but for my cats. I've tried to use a brush but apparently the only thing that works is wearing dark fabric and then allowing my cats to rub against me. LOL

  3. Scary at first sight! But how useful...
But I guess you're right. One must get his dog accustomd to that Alien before trying to use it.
Could be a nice gift for a friend of mine who's got 3 huskies! ;)

  4. Step one: Get the vacuum out of the Broom Closet
Step two: find where the dogs are hiding and drag them out.
Step three: attach groomer slicker to the vacuum
Step four: find where the dogs are hiding and drag them out again
    Step five: start the vacuum
Step six: find where the dogs are hiding and drag them out again
Step seven: wrestle a dog into place and start to groom while trying to maintain grips on vacuum and dog
Step eight: find where the dogs are hiding are hiding and drag them out again.
Step nine: repeat steps seven and eight until exhaustion sets in.
Step ten: Give up, shut off the vacuum, pour yourself a nice double scotch and put your feet up. It has been a long day.

  5. Will - we think alike, you just do it in better detail.

  6. Good idea, but it wouldn't work in our household. Will has it right. That's about what would happen.

  7. I've had terible luck with the Dyson Animal vac on the floor much less on the dogs. It's been serviced twice and they tell me it's because of pet hair working it's way into the clutch apparatus. Huh? I tell them it says "animal" vac right here on the vac. They tell me it's just for the attachments and not the vac itself. Sooooooo I'll just stick with a brush and wrestling.
