I guess I'm just too tired to get worked up into a hurricane. I never thought that they'd use Sean as one of the names for Tropical Storms or Hurricanes and if they did, there'd never be enough storms to reach my name. Wrong on both counts. After spending the first 20 years of my life never meeting/hearing of another Sean and always having it pronounced as seen, I find this very cool.

Where I grew up in Great Falls, Montana, we had lots of guys with your name. Only they were all Shawns.
When I was 16, I met this guy Sean. He was new to the city, tall, curly hair, goofy. We hit it off right away!
Then, mid-year, this short, curly-haired, quiet guy named Sean also moved into my home town.
TWO! And for the life of me, for three weeks, I thought the name was pronounced "See-un."
