CHILDHOOD CRUSH: JIM PALMER

I double any young gay didn't have a crush on Jim Palmer - simply because he wore Jockey Underwear. I'm not sure I cared about the man in the briefs, all I could think of was the body and looking for more ads. I did know he was a baseball player. :) And I liked his hair.

  1. Jim Palmer was one of the best pitchers to ever play baseball, but I think that's besides the point right? ;-)

  4. Despite all that great fur, Jim never really did it for me. I think it was his obvious straightness.

  5. I spent quite a bit of "quality time" with Jim's ads... so sexy.

  8. Sean,

Jim Palmer's appeal is one that eluded me. He does look great in underwear though.

  9. Back around 1983 or thereabouts, I lined up with hundreds of other gay guys outside of Macy's Union Square in San Francisco to get an autographed poster of Jim, BY JIM, and I did. There were nearly as many women there too. I still have the framed poster but it isn't any of these displayed here. - Montana Cowboy

  10. Back around 1983 or thereabouts, I stood in line at Macy's Union Square in San Francisco with hundreds of others to get this guy's autograph. On the Jockey poster. It was one poster and it's not featured here, but man he was hot. I didn't care he was autographing it to me, there were so many guys in line and they weren't football fans, it was San Francisco. There were a lot of women there too as I recall. I still have that framed poster around too. He seemed unfazed at all the guys that were there. - Montana Cowboy
