A very sad day. He was on my list of Childhood Crushes. The lead singer of The Monkees died after suffering a heart attack this morning in Florida. He was 66.
Davy is survived by his wife Jessica and four daughters from previous marriages. He joined The Monkees in 1965, with Micky Dolenz, Michael Nesmith and Peter Tork.

Strange... haven't thought of him or the Monkees in years and still when I read the news, all I could think was, "that is so sad".

Davey was a cutie-pie. Just the way I like some of my guys, small and cute. He was adorable when he was young. Not so much when he got older but then neither am I. :)
Ron - I thought he aged well. He didn't transfer like Clooney but he didn't crash and burn like Will Wheaton.
