RETURN OF THE WALKING DEAD

The Walking Dead returns tonight with its 14th episode overall and its first new hourlong in two and a half months. I had forgotten but luckily my DVR remembered - AMC, 9pm and repeated days and times all week. They're also running a Season 2 marathon today starting at 1:30 pm.

Titled ‘Nebraska’, the new episode picks up immediately following the events of the November 27th show that featured the return of Sophia as a member of the undead that had been kept locked up in old Hershel’s farm.

It was a great end to the mid-way point of the season with all tensions building to a tipping point from the previous slow-burns and finally we now meet see them leave that damned barn which has started to make the program feel a bit melodramatic and go out into the wider world of this zombie apocalypse.

AMC’s official synopsis of “Nebraska”: Rick and the others try to restore order in the aftermath of a terrible discovery. Hershel takes up an old habit and disappears, Rick and Glenn must follow him into town.
