WERE I AM TODAY: JEFFERY

Today I'm off to New Hope, PA., a nice little town about a half hour away from the Kesley Theater, where I'll be attending a silent auction and reception for the James Tolin Memorial Fund and their  beneficiaries production of Jeffery before seeing the play. My blogger buddy, Brian of Caliban's Revenge, stars as Sterling - the Patrick Stewart role in the movie.

I tried my best but these are the only photo's of Michael T. Weiss that I could find. He just dripped sex in this movie and I loved, loved him in The Pretender. I also couldn't find any info on any wives, ex's, gf's or kids. Hmmmm!

Aging very nicely!

The poster for the production I'm seeing tonight.

  1. Michael, as of a few years ago, was alive and well and gay in LA. Likes to tie people up, but wasn't great at it ... cut off circulation in hands, in particular by tying too tight. Nonetheless, some things are just worth it

  2. Have a good time, and stop by my blog. I thought of you when I saw this crazy Florida mug shot on the morning news.

  3. I had such a crush on him. He used to be on Days of Our Lives, playing a doctor, if I remember correctly.

  4. I've seen the film countless times. When I lived in New York, I went to the Chelsea Gym where the opening scenes were filmed. Building is still there but it's no longer a gym. I also like 'The Pretender' and I watched soley because of Michael T. Weiss. The show 'worked' because of him. Also while living in New York, I went to a playwrights symposium that featured, among others, Arthur Laurents and Paul Rudnick - the autor of 'Jeffrey'. It was the late 90's and Rudnick autorgraphed my 'Jeffrey' Laserdisc (remember those?) with a very nice couple of personal sentences. If you go to New York Jeep-Guy, find the Victorian 'shelter' in Central Park (along the parks West side) that's featured in the scene where Jeffrey tells Steve he's leaving for Wisconsin. The thing's a beauty to sit under. - Montana Cowboy

  6. Loved Michael T. Weiss on THE PRETENDER and as Joe Haskell on the 1991 DARK SHADOWS reboot.

Greg: He played Dr. Mike Horton on DAYS OF OUR LIVES.

  9. No wife or kids bc well......

But he was great in 'Jeffrey'. Steven Weber horribly miscast, but the rest of them were great.
