WET MEN

UPDATE: THE CHRISTMAS VISIT

I always thought that being in the hospital for Christmas (religious or not) would be about as depressing as you could get without dying. I was wrong. It is better if the person, Mom, is doing well and not in danger.

We, I, took mom to the ER on Sunday because I didn't like her breathing - it was very shallow. She was actually waiting to go with my sister to get a mani-pedi when I noticed. We later learned that she had been having some difficulties for 2-3 days but didn't want to be in the hospital for Christmas or to dampen anyone's spirits. I'll save you the discussion about how waiting wasn't helpful.

The good news came early, no pneumonia or obvious infection. Just the usual/likely hidden infection in COPD patients. They did do a CTscan for blood clot but it was clear but it also showed that her new medication has be doing its job - WIN-WIN!

So the hospital on Christmas was not so bad. It was more quiet then usually, ALL the doctors were either Jewish or Indian, no one but the patients seemed to mind being there and even the families made the best of it. Lot's of santa hats, bags of presents, platters of food and so much love and good cheer!

Mom is not home just yet, maybe today, she is just getting stronger and lots of IV antibiotics. We'll do Christmas when she comes home. Until then I'm with her in the hospital most of the day cursing the truly craptactular cell phone and internet reception in her specific room (other rooms in the same section have be great).

Thanks for all the well wishes and positive energy!

COACH JAMES FINLEY: SIGN THE PETITION

Reposted from The Closet Professor

Coach James Finley

Just three days before Thanksgiving, one of the most loved and most successful coaches at Virginia Commonwealth University, Coach James Finley, was fired. After delivering a 25-6 winning season and graduating every one of his seniors, Coach Finley was unceremoniously shown the door -- for no reason other than being unashamedly who he is...a gay man.
When letting the team know about the news, the Athletic Director who fired Coach Finley said that he wanted to find someone who "better represented VCU." I have trouble believing that VCU could find a better representative than Coach Finley, who is reportedly a kind and generous man, and an excellent volleyball coach who turned a shambles of a team into the most successful volleyball program in 20 years at VCU.
Virginia, like 28 other states, has no non-discrimination protections for lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender (LGBT) workers. That means that it's completely legal in most places in this country to fire -- or to not hire -- LGBT folks. These kinds of homophobic decisions are made all over the country every day -- but this time, we're fighting back.
As a school built upon the values of inclusion and diversity, VCU has an opportunity to lead a national conversation to ensure that one's work is judged solely by their success, not by their sexual orientation or gender identity. We urge you to overturn this decision and to welcome Coach Finley back on campus in time to usher our volleyball team into another winning season next year. Our university is better than this, our state is better than this, and our country is better than this.
petition has been formed by Camilla Lee Hill, Graduate Assistant for LGBT & Women's Services at VCU, to Reinstate Coach Finley now!  Hill stated that:
My students are angry and scared by this decision, and I feel certain that VCU will lose students, staff, and faculty if this decision is not overturned. Furthermore, as the daughter of an openly gay Division I volleyball coach and as an openly gay Division I field hockey player myself, I'm shocked that Coach Finley has lost his job for the egregious offense of simply being himself.

The petition states:
To:
Michael Rao, VCU President
Velma Jackson-Williams, Assistant Vice Provost and Director of EEO/AA Services
Reinstate Coach Finley!
We're asking you to reconsider the decision made by VCU's Athletic Director to fire Coach Finley. As a school built upon the values of inclusion and diversity, VCU has an opportunity to lead a national conversation to ensure that one's work is judged solely by their success, not by their sexual orientation or gender identity. We urge you to overturn this decision and to reinstate Coach Finley in time to usher our volleyball team into another winning season!

**I signed. There are 4 other petitions you should read. I signed 3 of them.

TMI ANSWERS ENCORE: SEX! SEX! SEX!

1. Have you ever dropped trou to have sex and realized you made a mistake and bolted?

  • Yes, more then once. First because of nerves, the second thanks to better lighting.

2. Have you ever used the wrong name while having sex or visa versa?

  • Does it count if you didn't know their name to begin with? Just kidding, I've never made that mistake because I never use names - something I learned from All My Children (soap opera).

3. Who is the one crush you jerked off to the most?

  • Easy, my next door neighbor, Billy Hannan. He has the all american, quarter back look, was very nice to me (8 years older), smart and funny. He loved to layout in the backyard, I'd jo watching from my window, he almost never wore a shirt in the summer, had a sexy hairy chest, and would walk from his room to the bathroom naked to shower at night with his beautiful cock swinging to and fro. On a really good night, I get to see his equally good-looking brother, Mark. My neighbors had a door that opened onto a deck and gave me full view of his walks. There was one time where I swear I was caught by his girlfriend while he was tanning cause she reached into his shorts and stroked him a bit before he stopped her. Excuse me..... Okay, I still use that day and him. Come to think of it, he looked a lot like Ben Cohen. That explains a lot.

4. Have you ever slept with a friends bf?
  • Not knowingly. I was out dancing at Badlands, in DC, and got picked up. All was revealed later that week at JR's where my friend had invited me so he could introduced his boyfriend.

5. Have you ever enjoyed/suffered and injury while having sex?

  • Yes. Socks and wood floors don't go together and too much of a "good thing" can be rough and even break the skin if you struggle too much.

Bonus
Have you named any of your body parts? What names does/have your partners called them?

  • Never named them and never had them named, however, love, cute and tushee have often been mentioned in the same sentence.
