  3. 1. In Coincidence? Yes.
    2. In Magic? Yes, because magicians are real. I don't want to watch them perform, though. Boring.
    3. In Love at First Sight? No.
    4. In Soul Mates? No.
    5. In Miracles? No.
    6. Absence Makes the Heart Grow Fonder? Yes, it can.
    7. In Life After Death? No.

    BONUS
In God? No. I believe Jesus really existed; he was a great man (with faults) much like MLK Jr, Ghandi, Nelson, Mandela, JFK, etc. I do not believe in his divinity.

  4. DO YOU BELIEVE?
    1. In Coincidence?

Yes; however, that doesn't rule out the possibility of fateful choices/decisions. Too many things had to happen "just so" and "just then" for me to meet my husband and find my children.

    2. In Magic?

As much as I wanted to be Samantha Stevens as a kid, no, I don't believe in magic.

    3. In Love at First Sight?

Yes. Absolutely, yes. I think, however it works, certain people belong together.

    4. In Soul Mates?

Yes. Found mine. Yeah, yeah. I sound like a Hallmark card.

    5. In Miracles?

I want to believe in miracles. I want to believe in karma. I want to believe their is a higher purpose and grand design in life. Is that enough?

    6. Absence Makes the Heart Grow Fonder?

To an extent. Absence can also make the heart go yonder.

    7. In Life After Death?

Yes. I think there is a persistence of ourselves. I accept this as an unknowable and finding out is the prize at the end of life.

    BONUS
    In God?

I believe in a divine. I believe faith and belief, however it is expressed or felt, touches on the greater truth. No religion and no person has a lock on the "truth"; we are all part of and interpreters of that truth. I believe the mysteries of the universe, of the mind and the spirit are just aspects of the same thing. Scientific discovery and religious meditation/revelation are not mutually exclusive.

  6. DO YOU BELIEVE?
    1. In Coincidence? Yes.
    2. In Magic? No, because it can all be explained, after all.
    3. In Love at First Sight? Not really. You really have to know someone to truly love the person. Perhaps that is why so many couples choose to live together before marriage for proof of that love
    4. In Soul Mates? Very definitely, but it can take a long time.
    5. In Miracles? No. Luck? maybe.
    6. Absence Makes the Heart Grow Fonder? I think that is true when the love is true.
    7. In Life After Death? No.

    BONUS
In God? Not anymore, though I was once one of the Methodist faithful including being lay leader, being on the administrative board, etc. Organized religion turns me off and I see it as the BIGGEST problem in the world today, and causing wars throughout history. If everyone could be rid of their religious differences and concentrate on their similarities and humanity, this would be a much better world.

  7. DO YOU BELIEVE?

    1. In Coincidence? yes, but I also believe that not all things are merely coincidence. Some things were meant to be

    2. In Magic? In the performance kind, no.. In the life kind, yes. Sh$t happens.... it really does.

    3. In Love at First Sight? yes.. and it hits you like the proverbial ton of bricks. It's love at SECOND sight that can be iffy.

    4. In Soul Mates? No. I believe that there are people who are potentially RIGHT for us, but it is unrealistic to expect that someone is going to walk into our lives and everything is going to be wonderful forever without working at it. That would be called "magical thinking".

    5. In Miracles? Yes. Maybe not the loaves and fishes kind, but there are many interventions during periods of extreme crisis that we can't explain.

    6. Absence Makes the Heart Grow Fonder? Possibly. If 'taking a vacation from each other' results in the two parties realizing that they'd rather live with each other than without each other.

    7. In Life After Death? I would like to think that it's not over when it's over.

    BONUS
    In God? I do, yes.
