IT'S SPRING!

In response to all the It's Snowing Here!!! comments:

Our snow is coming this afternoon. Being an island in the Atlantic makes a huge difference in whether we get snow or rain but flowers are never wrong. They actually started coming up in early Feb. but just bloomed this weekend. Daffodils too.
About 12 years ago I had a lovely Easter Sunday (April 8thish) lunch date under the cherry blossoms around the Jefferson Memorial. It was sunny and 72 degree, we were in shorts and tees. the next day is snowed 6 inches.

It will be 82 degrees where I live today, but in all fairness it was in the low to mid-40s overnight.

born, bred and lived 30 some-odd years on Long Island and actually never considered the fact that it was indeed 'an island in the Atlantic Ocean.' If all the bridges were unhooked, think maybe it would drift downstream a bit ... to say maybe, Hispanola?

I know you're glad but I am enjoying this last cool episode. Last Monday it hit 89 degrees and yesterday just a high in mid 60's and low in 40's. Summer will be here soon enough as in a couple of weeks for the gulf coast. Enjoy your spring Sean!
